Support & FAQ

We're here to help.

Answers to the questions we hear most — and a real person at the other end of an email when you need one.

Is ANMLVR free? +

Yes. Everything you need to care for one pet is free forever — medications, reminders, one-tap logging, daily check-ins, the emergency card, and CSV export. Pro is an optional one-time purchase ($4.99 lifetime, or a $2.99 one-month pass to try everything) that unlocks unlimited pets, full history, and the deeper tools. No subscriptions, no ads.

Where is my data stored? Is it private? +

Everything lives on your device — there's no cloud, no server, and no account. We don't collect, track, or transmit any of your information. Our App Store privacy label is "Data Not Collected." You can read the full privacy policy for details.

Does ANMLVR give medical advice? +

No. ANMLVR is a personal tracking tool, not a medical device. It helps you record and visualize your pet's health so you can spot changes worth discussing — but it never diagnoses, interprets, or recommends treatment. Your veterinarian is always your pet's medical authority.

How does family coordination work? +

You add the people who help care for your pet (a name and phone number). When a dose is given, skipped, or hasn't been logged, ANMLVR opens a ready-to-send text you tap to send — so the household stays on the same page.

To be clear about what it is today: this is text-based coordination, not live cross-device sync. Nothing is sent automatically, and data isn't shared between phones over the internet. (Real multi-device sync is something we're exploring for a future update.)

What happens if I get a new phone or delete the app? +

Because your data is stored on your device, deleting the app removes its data from that phone. Before switching phones or removing the app, use CSV export (in the app, free) to save a copy of your records. We can't recover data for you, because we never have a copy — that's the privacy trade-off.

How do I create a vet report or emergency card? +

The vet report is a one-tap PDF of your pet's medications, adherence, symptoms, and trends — generate it before an appointment and share or print it. The Emergency QR card turns your pet's key medical info into a code anyone can scan with a phone camera — no app needed. Keep it current by updating your pet's details in the app.

Does the app scan prescription labels? +

Not yet. You can attach a photo of a label to a medication for your own reference, but the app doesn't read it or auto-fill the details — you enter those yourself. It only takes a minute, and it keeps your records accurate.

Which devices does it support? +

ANMLVR is an iPhone app and works best on iOS 17 and later. It's coming soon to the App Store.
