The short version: ANMLVR stores everything on your device. We don't have servers, we don't have accounts, and we never collect, transmit, or sell your information. Our App Store privacy label is, accurately, "Data Not Collected."
1. Who this applies to
This policy covers the ANMLVR iOS app and this website, anmlvr.com. By using ANMLVR you agree to the practices described here.
2. What we collect
Nothing. ANMLVR does not collect, transmit, or store your data on any server. There is no analytics SDK, no advertising network, no telemetry, and no tracking of any kind. We have no way to see your pet's information, because it never leaves your device.
3. Where your data lives
Everything you enter — pet profiles, medications, dose logs, check-ins, symptoms, weight, lab results, photos, vet contacts, and notes — is stored locally on your iPhone using Apple's on-device database. It stays on your device unless you choose to share it.
- Exports you create (CSV files or vet-report PDFs) are generated on your device and shared only where you send them, using Apple's standard share sheet.
- Your Emergency QR card encodes the medical details you entered as plain text in the QR image. Anyone you show it to can scan it — so share it deliberately. It contains only what you put into it.
- Heads-up texts to household members are composed on your device and sent through Apple's Messages app when you tap send. ANMLVR never sends anything automatically and has no server in between.
4. No account, no internet required
ANMLVR has no sign-up, login, or user account. The core app works fully offline — an internet connection is never required to care for your pet.
5. Purchases
Optional Pro features and the tip jar are sold through Apple's In-App Purchase system. Those transactions are handled entirely by Apple under Apple's privacy policy; ANMLVR receives only an anonymous confirmation that a purchase is active. We never see your name, payment details, or Apple ID.
6. Notifications
If you enable reminders, ANMLVR schedules local notifications on your device through iOS. These are generated and delivered entirely on-device — no notification data is sent to us or anyone else.
7. This website
anmlvr.com is a static informational site. It sets no advertising or tracking cookies and runs no analytics that identify you. Our hosting provider may keep standard, anonymized server logs (such as IP address and page requested) for security and reliability, as is typical for any website; we do not use these to identify or profile visitors.
8. Children's privacy
ANMLVR is rated 4+ and collects no data from anyone, including children. Because nothing is collected or transmitted, the app does not knowingly gather personal information from children or any other user.
9. Your control
Your data is yours. You can export all of it to CSV at any time, and deleting the app removes its on-device data from your phone. Because we hold nothing, there is no account to close and no server-side copy to request or erase.
10. Changes to this policy
If we ever change how ANMLVR handles data — for example, when optional cross-device sync arrives in a future version — we'll update this page and its date, and describe the change in plain language before it takes effect.
